Let me introduce myself

For those who don't know already who I am, I want to introduce myself. ^_^


 My name is Sarah and I own a Photography company called Lyric Soullay Photography. Located in Fredericksburg Virginia. I am married to the love of my life and spend most days being a crazy art person!

 I specialize in stylized and fantasy portraiture photography

I am a self taught photographer and I prefer to refer to myself as more of an artist then a photographer. Not that photography isnt an art form as much as I don't prefer the label. I create most of my costuming and hair pieces and pride myself on using real women as models, because I feel everyone deserves to feel beautiful ....I guess that goes for the guys too ;)

Photography is my Passion it defines me. I put everything I am into each shoot and who I am always shows through the intensity and imagination of each session. I want to create different worlds through photographs. I like to think of myself as an Imagination Enthusiast for lack of a better explanation I'm a complete crazy person. But I'm okay with that ....just a little more eccentric than  others. I am very spontaneous and find beauty in all things, which allows me to see the world differently  than other people and don't take life to seriously.

I feel “Everyone Deserves to Sparkle”

You are never too old to make believe, to feel beautiful, to wish on stars, and then dive face first into a pile of glitter. When you are a little girl, everything is magic and in the magic anything was possible. Fairies lived in the embers of bonfires and in the fog of early mornings. The stars could be caught in jars with fireflies and rainbows had a little man with a pot of gold at the end and you swore that one day you'd catch him. Then we grow up and forget what it's like to find enchantment in everything, to day dream and fantasize about unexplainable things. Lyric Soullay is not just about dressing up and playing make believe it's about finding the child inside of us. It's remembering that you are beautiful. And for a moment the world isn't so grey and dull, it's whimsical and that the fairy-tales can come true as long as you just believe......

Hey everyone! 

I am in the hopes of having this blog up and running in a week or so.

For those who know me you all know about my end of the month...."burst" of announcements, so I figured I would start a blog and leak a little out at a time.

This is where I will be posting behind the scene videos and images as well as giving updates to upcoming events and giveaways! 

You will get to read my ramblings as well.....fun right???
